Part A: Introduction Skeleton Twins, produced by Stephanie Lang off, is a movie about a pair of twins,Maggie and Milo, who has not seen each other for 10 years. When they were little, their father took his own life by jumping off a bridge, and the mother remarried with another man.Maggie is an introvert who works as a dentist. She does not have any close friends that she hangs out with except for her husband, Lance. She is quite short-tempered and does not seem to have much interest in the things that she is doing such as the short courses she is taking. The only person, other than Lance that can make her laugh, is her brother, Milo. In this movie, Maggie goes through suicidal idealization a few times in this movie.Milo is a struggling independent actor. He is not ashamed being a homosexual. He has been in love with former English teacher, Rich, whom raped him when he was in high/middle school. Opposite to his sister, he is more talkative, with a huge sense of humor. He always masks his misery with jokes.The movie started off with Milo, writing a death note, drunk and proceeds cut his wrist and submerge himself in a bathtub filled with water.

He was found on time when his neighbor complained about the music from his apartment being too loud. When the hospital called Maggie to tell her he is okay, Maggie was actually about to swallow a handful of pills.Maggie then brings back Milo to her place in their hometown. During dinner, Milo meets Lance for the first time. Lance was the one who talked through the whole dinner, sharing how Maggie has been going to short course classes. He also mentioned about how they are trying to have a baby which shook Milo as Maggie was never really fond of children. During the whole conversation, Maggie did not show much of interest.The next day, Milo goes out on a stroll around town and stops at a bookstore to say to Rich but was kicked out. He then went to the bar but sadly for him it was ‘dyke’ night. He later got drunk and barges into Maggie’s and Lance’s bedroom, disturbing their sleep. Maggie was very mad and even talked about it in the morning. On the same day later, Maggie goes to her scuba diving class. During the session, she unconsciously stayed underwater for too long,remembering a part of her childhood until the instructor pulls her out of the water.She returns home with fish tank for Milo but drops it when she sees her mother who never came to her wedding, in her house. Milo had invited her without telling Maggie.During dinner, the mother shares with the three of them about her new family which again,Maggie did not display any interest in her stories. At the end of the day, Maggie couldn’t take anymore of her mother words, she told the mother to leave her house.
