ParticipantsParticipants will be Southern New Hampshire (SNHU) graduate students from PSY 510 and PSY 520 classes. The participants will consist of males and females of varying ages from 21 years of age to 70 years of age. It is expected that there will be 7 to 10 participants that will participate in this study that will need to use either a computer or smartphone to take the survey, and all data will be evaluated in SPSS.ProcedureThe participants in the study will be asked to read the introduction before they can participate in the survey. There will also be a consent form that they will need to complete. Once they completed reading the introduction portion of the study, they then will be asked to complete demographic questions.

There will be several demographic questions that they will need to answer, such as do you work more than 36 hours a week and are you a part-time or full-time graduate student. Next, they will be asked to complete a survey about how they view their stress levels on a daily basis and if they exercise. There will be two hypothetical scenarios that they will need to read and then answer a survey based on each of the hypothetical scenarios given. There will be a detailed account of what each survey includes follows, as well as ethical information.MaterialsMaterials used will be given to participants using Qualtrics, an online survey program, which is utilized by Southern New Hampshire University (SNHU) for purposes of research.

This research will be using graduate students from the PSY 510 Research Methods in psych I and PSY 520 Research Methods in Psych II courses. Who are all attending SouthernNew Hampshire University. Participants will be both male and female and will vary in age. For this research, it is expected that no less than 7, and no more than 10 participants will be used. Participants will need to have access to a computer, tablet, or smartphone in order to take part in the survey portion of this research. The data will then be evaluated and analyzed using SPSS.MaterialsThe Qualtrics survey tool, an online tool used by Southern New Hampshire University as a research tool, was used to create the survey questionnaire presented to this study’s participants. All participants were asked to make sure that they had access to either a computer tablet or smartphone.

To assess the data once it was collected, the IBM SPSS program was used.ProcedurePrior to taking part in the survey, participants will be given background information on the research being conducted. Participants will at this time also be made aware of the goals and expectations of the research. During this time, participants will be made aware that this research is voluntary and that at any time, participants can choose not to participate. Participants will then be asked for their consent to participate in the research before moving forward. Participants will be asked to provide a little bit of background information about themselves.
