Life is not a walk in the part, and we will encounter different barriers to reaching our goals. Stress is a major key. If we learn how to manage our stress, we have more control of our mental health. To overcome life challenges, we need our minds not to be cloudy to make smart decisions. The healthier your mental health is, the better progress you make.

I got my highest score in the self-regulation domain with a 15 out of 15. The results I received currently have the same opinion of myself. I definitely need to work on my social awareness because I have a tendency to stay to myself because I prefer to only have to deal with my problems and then add other people’s problems into my life. I only have a small circle of people I really talk to and feel comfortable enough to be myself around them. I am really not a people person at all because some of the ignorance and stupidity you see nowadays keeps me wanting to stay to myself. Emotional intelligence can help me overcome life challenges and achieve my goals by showing me what I need to work on to become more emotionally intelligent. It can improve my relationships with people to help me become a better more confident person when it comes to stating my needs while trying to avoid conflict. It will also help me learn to control the way I react to people and what comes out of my mouth.
