QUALIFICATIONS1.According to the Federal Rule of Evidence 702, expert witness qualifications are met by knowledge, training/experiences, skills, and education (LII, n.d.). I am a clinical forensic psychologist licensed to practice in the state of Georgia and have specialized training in forensic evaluations and assessments. I received my doctorate in clinical psychology with an emphasis in forensics from the Chicago School of Psychology in Chicago, Illinois and my undergraduate degree from Southern New Hampshire University in Manchester, New Hampshire. I am currently a member of the Georgia Psychological Association as well as. I meet specific qualifications as a psychology professional that align with FRE 702standards and allow me to be an expert witness in this case. I received my master’s degree in forensic psychology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2020. I was in the top of my class and graduated Magna Cum Laude from this university as well. My time in graduate school consisted of many detailed and relevant courses such as: Intersection of Law and Psychology Ethical Practices in Psychology, Theories of Personality, Assessment for Forensic Psychology,and Psychology in the Courtroom. My bachelor’s degree was in criminal justice from Middle Tennessee State University, so I also am very familiar with criminal behavior and characteristics associated with recidivism.

I have prior work experience in probation and a mental health treatment facility. Currently, I am working as a professional psychology consultant for Child Protective Services in the state of Tennessee. I specialize in psychological assessments and treatment following these assessments and trauma cases, specifically in child neglect. My education combined with my work experience has well equipped me to produce reasonable and professional recommendations following a clinical consultation and assessment of the individual in question.When the court reviews the evidence collected in Ms. C’s case along with my professional qualifications, they will see that my expert testimony meets and complies with the Federal Rules of Evidence Rule 702 (FRE 702), testimony by expert witnesses. My testimony meets the FRE 702 standards due to my educational and work experience. My master’s degree in forensic psychology along with experience completing assessments make me a qualified professional; therefore, meaning I know what I am talking about rather than making uneducated guesses and recommendations. I am also well trained and experienced in assessing the psychological data obtained from these psychological assessments. By having this training and experience, it allows me to recommend effective treatment methods and programs to the individual involved in the consultation.All psychological assessments, tools, and principles used in my psychological consultations meet the Daubert standard as well by producing valid and reliable results and being widely used and accepted in the scientific community.
