The data set that I have chosen for my final project is “Data Set 4 (Addictions)”. The involved parties in the data set included 36 individuals who were recovering from alcohol addiction. The individuals were divided into two groups. One group was given a drug and the other group was given a placebo. From the data given for this scenario, the question that I can answer is, “Does the drug moderate the symptoms of alcohol withdrawal and craving with minimum side effects?” My stance is no it does not. The total scores for signaling higher levels of rumination were too closely matched to consider the drug to be effective enough. Introduction: Scenario Agrees This study exemplifies one that agrees with the APA’s ethical principles and code of conduct by obtaining “informed consent to research”

Another way is to remain unbiased so as to not intentionally includes or omit data that was not part of the test. Data Analysis: Sample The sample size for my data set is 36 individuals (n=36).
