Nativists believe that human development is fully controlled by biological factors or genes whereas, environmentalists believe that humans develop their personalities and behaviors in response to their environments. This is an important topic to study when looking at the perspectives of psychology to find whether we are more influenced by nature or nurture. I believe nurture has more impact on human behavior. When looking at the seven perspectives of psychology, it is clear that both nature and nurture can influence human behavior. Whether perspective is a product of genetics or environment may depend on who you ask.
